Forms for Differently Abled
Hi people. Its been a long time since I have posted anything on this blog. We had this idea that we will be sharing our ideas and experiences. Actually this post should have come earlier if I would have known how to show HTML code nicely in the posts. But this time, things are better. So here it is... It all started during the SDRC-UG introduction session with the BBA-IT freshers of our college, SICSR . This time we had decided to put the recruitment process online where the students have to register themselves online. Naturally they have to fill the form (<form>). One of the students came to me and asked various things and told me that he is one of those differently-abled people. Just then I realized whether the forms that we had been designing since beginning can be accessible by such people. When Google-d it out, I came to know that all those forms are not for such people. Crap...:-( I am sure all those in the same field could feel the same way. So much work done over the year...
